EOC Outreach

The EOC recognizes the unprecedented challenges facing the U.S. as it seeks to maintain its preeminence in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Through outreach and education, the EOC serves as a hub -- facilitating effective collaborations and partnerships to leverage resources and to engage all levels of education in STEM learning. Spark ignites K-12 students through STEM experiences in the classroom, afterschool and at summer camps: Robotics Camp for 7th, 8th, and 9th graders or Electro-Optics Camp for 10th, 11th, or 12th graders. Flame focuses on theoretical and practical experiences for postsecondary students such as internships for future researchers and scientists. Fire keeps the incumbent workforce and non-traditional students up to date in STEM disciplines. This multi-faceted, collaborative approach ensures that the U.S. warfighters will be supported by the best and most talented workforce.
